Senior scientist Lise Lotte Sørensen is the Head of Section of Atmospheric Measurements in the Dep. Environmental Science, Aarhus University. She has been working in the field of atmospheric sciences since 1990, with the main areas of expertise in atmospheric chemistry, micrometeorology and biogeochemical cycling with an emphasis on GHGs, and atmosphere- surface exchange processes. She has coordinated several large national and international research projects with an Arctic focus and is at present the coordinator of the HorizonEurope project GreenFeedBack.
She is the PI of the atmospheric ICOS station at Station Nord in Greenland and Work Package lead in Greenland Gradient, which is part of the newly established Greenland Integrated Observing System (GIOS). She has been coordinating several field courses and summer schools in Greenland and has supervised numerous graduate students (PhDs and Masters). She has contributed to more than 60 international scientific papers and reviewed a large number of doctoral theses, research proposals and scientific papers.
