Ana Maria Stan is currently working as Policy officer for Arctic and Polar research, in the Directorate General for Research and Innovation, European Commission, in Brussels. She has previously worked on education , culture and youth policy, in the Commission’s Directorate general for Education and Culture.
Prior to joining the European Commission, she worked with UNESCO in Paris, on Culture and development, with a focus on indigenous peoples affairs. She holds a Master’s degree in International affairs from the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Clermont Ferrand, France, and a Masters in Cultural Anthropology from the National Museum of Natural Science, Paris.
